History

Kuneko first appears during Felix's personal quest, Don't You Want Me. At Cherry Meadow, when a Kirikuri is about to attack Felix, Kuneko shows up. Later Felix reveals to the player that Kuneko was a childhood drawing of his that has come to life.
Kuneko joins the player and Felix in battling the Rogue Fusions at the four elemental altars in Cherry Meadow, Thirstaton Lake, Autumn Hill or Eastham Woods.
Defeating all four Rogue Fusions at the elemental altars leads to a battle against Kuneko, who transforms into the Archangel Shining Kuneko. After her defeat, Kuneko gives the player a tape of herself before parting ways with the player and Felix.
After the completion of Don't You Want Me, Kuneko will randomly appear as a static encounter in various locations throughout New Wirral and can be battled and recorded by the player.

Trivia
- Shining Kuneko is the only Archangel the player can encounter during the main story whose defeat does not unlock any part of Morgante's song to progress the Land of Confusion quest.
- Kuneko and Shining Kuneko are voiced by Tara Platt, who also voiced Morgante, another Archangel.
