Call For Help is a Typeless Move.
Description
Chance to summon a temporary ally.
Additional Information
The type of monster summoned will be native to the location of the battle, specifically to the spawn profile associated with the general area. This excludes secret spawns in some sections of a given area. If there is no such spawn profile in the game's memory, the summoned species is based on the user.
The summoned ally monster is of the same level as the user, and has the Summoned status for three turns. Summons are set to a grade of 5 stars, and their initial movesets reflect wild encounters, meaning it includes all moves learned initially and moves obtained via level-up for the first 5 stars.
If used by either the player or partner, the summoned monster will have their AI smartness set to the maximum value; if used by the AI, it will inherit their smartness level.
How to obtain
Call For Help may be obtained when a compatible tape levels up.

Trivia
The only way to have no loaded default spawn profile, and thus have Call for Help's summoned species be determined by the user, is to launch the game, stay in a location with no associated spawn profile such as Harbourtown, and initiating battle such as through Multiplayer battle. Entering any area with a default spawn profile will result in it being stored in memory, preventing this interaction from happening until the game is relaunched.
