Each monster and move has an elemental type that determines its strengths, weaknesses, and abilities. Monsters which differ from the usual type of their species are called bootlegs.

In addition, moves can be Typeless. A typeless attack takes on the type of the monster using it. In combat, untransformed humans are also typeless, and are unaffected by the type chart below.

A green cell indicates the attack buffs the defender. A red cell indicates the attack debuffs the defender. Yellow indicates the attack changes the defender to a different type. Hover over a cell to view the details of that match-up.
