The Dead World is a universe that Aleph has presumably destroyed. The player visits it in the middle of Cassette Beasts, forming the game’s intermission.
Aleph sends the player there after they defeat half the Archangels to avoid further interference in his plans. After walking to the end of the road, they are rescued by Ms. Amber and return to New Wirral.
