Battles
Kirby is paired up with a Researcher in battle. The tapes they use together are based on the monster associated with the Ranger Noticeboard quest Hoylake's Assistant, as well as its remasters.
If the quest's chosen species is a remaster, Kirby's first tape will be the chosen species. If it isn't a remaster, his first tape will instead be the species's remaster line in order, and his partner's first tape will be the quest's chosen species.
