Barkley is a Partner character featured in Cassette Beasts. He is the only non-human partner in the game.
His signature monster tape is Pombomb.
Description
Barkley is a good-tempered Pomeranian. He was transported to New Wirral along with his owner while they were on a walk.
Quest
Barkley can be found in northeast Cherry Meadow, trying to climb the cliffs to north.

Trivia
- Barkley is the only partner that does not use wings with the Mothwing Glide ability in the overworld, and instead glides using a balloon.
- Barkley always starts with an Ice-type bootleg Pombomb tape. This has resulted in the Frosty Bootleg achievement on Steam being the most common Bootleg achievement.
- In customized games with 'Randomise Monsters' enabled, Barkley's starting tape will still always be an Ice-type bootleg.
- His Partner Quest, "Come Back And Stay", is named after the song Come Back and Stay by Jack Lee and Paul Young.
