AP

From Cassette Beasts

Action Points , or AP for short, are the points fighters use to trigger their moves. Players and monsters spend their AP as they gain it, while Archangels accumulate them until they have enough to consume for their Angelic Attack. Their unique AP is distinguished by its purple color ().

Capacity

Every monster form has a set maximum amount of AP that they can carry, ranging from 5-10. All fully remastered monster forms and Archangels can have up to 10 AP at once.

Gaining

At the end of every round, each fighter gains 2 AP. This amount can be increased by AP Boost and Gemstone Wall, and reduced by AP Drain. Each time a fighter hits a type-advantage attack, they will additionally gain 1 AP.

AP Refund, AP Starter, Critical AP, Energy Reserves, and Pity AP can all grant the user or allies AP under specific circumstances.

Coffee is a type of consumable item purchased in the Gramophone Café that the player can use to grant an allied fighter additional AP in battle.

Transferring and Removing

Using certain moves, AP can be transferred between fighters, or removed from them. AP Factory and AP Donate allow a fighter to transfer AP to their ally. AP Steal causes the fighter to steal from an enemy, and Guzzle Fuel removes AP from an enemy.
