Barkley is a Partner character featured in Cassette Beasts. He is the only non-human partner in the game.

His signature monster tape is Pombomb.

Barkley is a good-tempered Pomeranian. He was transported to New Wirral along with his owner while they were on a walk.

Barkley can be found in northeast Cherry Meadow, trying to climb the cliffs to north.

Barkley is the only partner to not have wings when flying in the overworld, instead using a balloon.
Barkley always starts with an Ice-type Pombomb tape. This has resulted in the Frosty Bootleg achievement on Steam being the most common Bootleg achievement.

 Completing his quest requires ascending the cliffs using the ball and reaching [[Mt. Wirral]]. After entering a specific cave you will fight the [[Averevoir]] that killed Barkley's owner.
