Planting the Seed

Planting the Seed is a side quest that starts after the player meets the Anxious Ranger in her home in West Harbourtown.
Parts
- Plant 14 saplings in Harbourtown.
- Inform the ranger in west Harbourtown that you've planter her saplings.
Events
The player talk to the anxious ranger in West Harbourtown. She is delighted to have a fellow ranger assist her. She gives the player the Gardening Kit.
The plant seedlings are grown by the Pipers who own the farm. The plants the player can choose are leafy bush, cherry blossoms, red roses, pale orchids, and lavenders. - Anxious Ranger: OK! Wonderful! I'm a fellow ranger - well, a trainee at least. Perhaps you could lend me a hand?
- Anxious Ranger: I've got some plant saplings grown by the Pipers over on their farm. They're for prettying up the town.
- Anxious Ranger: However, I'm... not great at decision making. Which plants would look best? It's too much!
- Anxious Ranger: Would you help a fellow ranger out and put some saplings in the planters I've left around town?
(Choice between "Sure!" and "Not now.")
- If chosen "Sure!":
- Anxious Ranger: Thank you! Here, take these...
- Anxious Ranger: There are 14 planters I've placed around town. Let me know when you've filled them all!
- If chosen "Not now.":
- Anxious Ranger: That's fine! No problem. Just... if you ever change your mind, you know where to find me!
- If chosen "Nope!":
- Anxious Ranger: Oh, OK then.
Quest Finish
- Anxious Ranger: Oh, you're done?
- If current partner is Kayleigh:
- Kayleigh: Yep! I'd say the town is looking a wee bit prettier now!
- If current partner is Eugene:
- Eugene: Yeah! I provided moral support, but <player> handled the dirty work.
- If current partner is Meredith:
- Meredith: Yeah, we successfully raised the town's "twee" rating by a few points.
- If current partner is Felix:
- Felix: I think it's fair to say that the town is looking a little nicer now.
- If current partner is Viola:
- Viola: Indeed, the task is done - and the town is all the better for it.
- If current partner is Sunny:
- Sunny: Job done! Harbourtown is cuter than ever...!
