Planting the Seed is a side quest that starts after the player meets the Anxious Ranger in her home in West Harbourtown.
Parts
- Plant 14 saplings in Harbourtown.
- Inform the ranger in west Harbourtown that you've planter her saplings.
Events
The player talk to the anxious ranger in West Harbourtown. She is delighted to have a fellow ranger assist her. She gives the player the Gardening Kit.
The plant seedlings are grown by the Pipers who own the farm. The plants the player can choose are leafy bush, cherry blossoms, red roses, pale orchids, and lavenders. The first set of planters is in the same room the player meets the ranger in. In her room, there is a book that hints to Zephyr being used for remastering Masquerattle to Aeroboros.
There are two more planters at the entrance of the building the anxious ranger lives in. There are two between the three sticker merchants, two planters out front of Town Hall and two more directly when the player enters Town Hall.

After all 14 saplings are planted, go back to the anxious ranger in West Harbortown. She will praise the player and reward the player with 182XP, an uncommon New Leaf sticker,
