Hardback is a Typeless passive Move. It was added in version 1.5 of the game. It’s exclusive to Hauntome.
Description
Reduces incoming damage from all but critical and Fire-type attacks. Fire-type attacks received are always critical, and do not provide buffs.
Additional Information
Hardback reduces all non-Fire and non-critical hit damage sources by 50%, which includes self-damage and damage from status effects. This does not affect moves or statuses that directly set the user's health.
Due to the way stickers are processed, placing Fireproof above Hardback will prevent Fire type attacks from automatically being critical hits.
How to obtain
Hardback may be obtained when a compatible tape levels up.
