Pier of the Unknown is a DLC for Cassette Beasts. It was released on October 4th, 2023.[1]
Pre-Release
Pier of the Unknown was first announced during the Cassette Beasts Showcase on June 28th, 2023. The showcase featured a short trailer for the DLC which revealed the name of Brightside Pier and the silhouette of Gwen.[2]
A short teaser for Pier of the Unknown was shown during the Monster Taming Direct streamed on September 4th, 2023. It showed off the silhouette Charlequin.[3]
The second trailer for Pier of the Unknown was released on September 12th, 2023 alongside a post on the Cassette Beasts Steam page. The trailer showed some gameplay in Brightside Pier, showed concept art for Gwen, Charlequin, and Littlered, and announced that the DLC would be released on October 4th, 2023.[4] The post additionally mentioned that the DLC will add 12 new monsters that will only be found in Brightside Pier as well as 5 new character costume options.[1]
Unlocking
