Description
Spectra is an artist and writer based in America. It chooses to represents itself with either an inkling with honeybee-like features, or a green mink with beetle-like features.
The former bears a resemblance to Inklings from the Splatoon series, while the latter bears a resemblance to Magolor from the Kirby franchise.
History
Spectra got into the Cassette Beasts franchise in January of 2026. They had heard of it loosely from a friend in the prior year, and after toying with the idea of getting it, they bought it during the Steam Winter Sale.
In March, it recognized the lack of information on their favorite characters' pages, and joined Wiki editing in order to, "Take that first step to change."
Contributions
The Gallery Project
As of March 16th, 2026, Spectra's main edits to the Wiki have been centered around expanding characters' Gallery sections. It started with Kayleigh, adding her portraits with files from the decompiled files, then going into Aseprite to animate her Battle and Overworld sprites by hand. They have also done Galleries for Meredith and Felix, and hope that others may assist the project as well.
Trivia
- Its favorite characters are Kayleigh, Kuneko (character) and Zedd.
- Its favorite ship is Kayleigh and Eugene [AKA: ArroWind]
- When told by user Lerycide that the reason editors were absent was because, "There's a lot of legwork that hasn't been done yet in the wiki," Spectra's direct response was, "Then its a good thing I got stronger legs than arms."
