Relationship Level Scenes

This section is incomplete. Feel free to add the missing information by editing it.

Romance

  • Kayleigh: You’re quieter than usual, <player>! Is there something on your mind?

(Choice between "I want us to be together." and "Nothing in particular!")

If chosen "I want us to be together.":
  • Kayleigh: Aye, I thought you might.
  • Kayleigh: Truth be told, I don’t think I saw you in that way until we fused.
If the player goes by he/him pronouns:
  • Kayleigh: I mean, I’ve had a few relationships with a few boys, but, I never really… felt anything from them.
If the player goes by she/her or they/them pronouns:
  • Kayleigh: For a start, I’ve only ever had a few short relationships, and they were all with boys, too.
  • Kayleigh: It may sound a wee bit silly, but when we fuse…
  • Kayleigh: I feel like I feel your soul… And that maybe I know you in a way I don’t even know myself.
  • Kayleigh: I don’t know if I have a word to describe it.
  • Kayleigh: I… I think you’re beautiful. Of course I want to be with you.
  • Kayleigh: And even if we one day have to part, it’ll have been worth it, I think.
(Choice between "You’re right." and "I think so too.")
  • Kayleigh: Well, you have a girlfriend now! AND she’s a budding musician!
  • Kayleigh: Aren’t you lucky?
  • Kayleigh: We should celebrate!
If chosen "Nothing in particular!":
  • Kayleigh: If you say so!

Campsite and Gramophone Café Conversations

Partner Interactions in Gramophone Café

Kayleigh and Eugene

  • Kayleigh: ...I don’t understand you, Eugene. You love all this “save the community” stuff, but you don’t want to join the rangers with me?
  • Eugene: It’s nothing personal. I’m just a loose cannon, is all. A lone wolf. I can’t abide by an organisation that might hold me back.
  • Kayleigh: I don’t think that’s it. I think you’re scared that you might fail the entry test!
  • Eugene: Th-that’s not it at all!

Kayleigh and Meredith

  • Meredith: ...I really don’t get it.
  • Meredith: What is the “inter net”? Half the people in Harbourtown are crying over how much they miss it!
  • Kayleigh: Y’know, the internet? Like on computers, or phones?
  • Meredith: On phones? Do you speak to people over it?
  • Kayleigh: …What was the current year in your world before you came here, Meredith?
  • Meredith: 1989, why do you ask?
  • Kayleigh: Oh! OK. I can see we’re maybe a little out of sync with each other.

Kayleigh and Felix

  • Kayleigh: Hey, I have a question for you, Felix! I know you draw cartoons, but do you also design tattoos?
  • Felix: I can’t say I have! Are you looking to get inked?
  • Kayleigh: Hmm. I think I like the idea of getting a tattoo in theory.
  • Kayleigh: But in reality, I think I’m just too indecisive. I couldn’t possibly make such a permanent decision.

Kayleigh and Viola

  • Kayleigh: Viola, I gotta ask…
  • Kayleigh: Where did you get that sleeveless jacket? I’ve never seen anything like it in New Wirral before!
  • Viola: When I washed up on the sands of this lonely isle, I found an old soldier’s jacket cast aside on the beach.
  • Viola: The sleeves were of an ill fit for me, so I simply removed them.
  • Viola: It must be said that I have grown quite fond of it.
  • Kayleigh: You’re so cool... I’m definitely crushing on you a little bit right now.
  • Viola: Are you confessing your unending love for me, dear Kayleigh?
  • Kayleigh: Hey, I’m not THAT easily won over!

Kayleigh and Barkley

  • Kayleigh: Who’s a good boy? You are! Yes, you!
  • Barkley: Arf arf!
