Mammon/Dialogue
From Cassette Beasts
These are Mammon's dialogues.
Pre-battle
- Landkeepers: NO FIXED-RATE MORTGAGES... INCREASING EQUITY... ADJUSTABLE MARKET CAP RATES... MARKET GROWTH...
(Landkeepers and Mammon are revealed from the darkness)
- Mammon: Thank you for arriving at our scheduled meeting. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
- Eugene: So you're behind this, huh? So tell me, why would an Archangel try to take over the property market?!
- Mammon: My kin are born of humanity's ego. The strongest desires of your kind give us form.
I exist as a tribute to mankind's consumption.
I want order because you do. I crave structure because you do.
- Mammon: My kin are born of humanity's ego. The strongest desires of your kind give us form.
- Eugene: ...
- Mammon: I want what you want, Human Eugene. I can read your heart.
- Eugene: You don't know a SINGLE thing about me.
- Mammon: I sympathise with the Human Eugene.
The Human Eugene finds no value in themselves outside of their cause.
Without a cause, the Human Eugene is nothing.
A hollow shell. Just like my agents.
- Mammon: I sympathise with the Human Eugene.
