{{lyrics|
Oh no, you won't dare stop and stare again

Your fingers and toes have turned ice cold

Oh no, there's nothing up your sleeve this time

With all of my might, I'll shut your eyes

You can't climb these stairs, they're far too steep for you

Pack your bags and say goodnight

Headstrong

Coming back at you twice as greater than you had thought

And I know the feeling

That you get when you're never not quite alone

And I told you

To take no further steps than you have towards me

You'll see

It's the same old story

Oh no, you don't deserve my pain again

A crossing of blows, it's so unknown

Oh no, there's nothing left to say this time

Well, haven't you heard your empty words

You can't brave this sea, it's far too deep for you

Don't say it will be alright

Headstrong

Coming back at you twice as greater than you had thought

And I know the feeling

That you get when you're never not quite alone

And I told you

To take no further steps than you have towards me

You'll see

It's the same old story

Heads or tails

Kneel before me

Rain or hail

I'll be set free

The finest stage to be winning on

We'll see

It's the same old story
